About Me
‘It is important to make buildings in which the users find freedom’ - Anne Lacaton
My name is Rebecca Weller, I am soon to qualify as a part 1 architectural assistant. I believe that collaboration is the key to successful architectural design, and this motivates me to always be inquisitive. Personally, I was drawn to the profession as it requires an abundance of knowledge from many fields, which I find both challenging and compelling. I am interested in the vital link between architecture and societal social structures. I am most excited by design when it is used to tackle social issues and improve the experiences of those individuals most in need of change.

I am currently in Maria Kramer and Bruce Irwin's studio at the University of Westminster, developing visions of what a University campus of the future could be. The studio's work is based on values of inclusivity, equality and diversity. We work to promote well-being through design and explore the relationship between culture and nature.
